of the best spots I’ve been to, a great part of the river to take
advantage of the prime fishing there. It’s a shame we could only stay

an excellent week at Sunny Patch, a cosy and well appointed cottage. It was easy
to keep ourselves busy locally with the castle and walks along the river and had
great days out to Bamburgh and Alnwick just a short drive away. The DVD player
came in handy on the one rainy afternoon we had. All in all a very enjoyable
